Adult Education at Hope Community

We have a variety of opportunities for adults to grow spiritually, relationally, and practically. New small groups and classes are starting throughout the year, so join up and get connected!

Hope GPS "Growing People for the Savior "

Wednesday Nights, 7:00 pm (September - May)

Hope Community Church has developed a Personal Spiritual Growth Strategy for our body that we call “GPS”, Growing People for the Savior. We recommend that everyone who calls Hope their home go through this strategy as part of their growth in Jesus. On Wednesday nights September through May we meet in groups at the church building from 7-8:30 P.M. during the same time that Faith Weavers for the children and "Imitators of Christ" for the youth group meet. The strategy looks like this:

Step 1-God 101
This is for newer believers in our Savior and those that would like to brush up on the basics of the Christian faith. Topics include:
A. The Bible
B. God the Father
C. God the Son
D. God the Holy Spirit
E. Man and Sin
F. Salvation

G. Living in Obedience

H. Angels & Demons

I. The Church

J. The End Times

Step 2-Becoming Like Jesus
In this course we look into teachings such as:
A. Humility
B. True Discipleship
C. Prayer & Fasting
D. Seeking After God
E. Serving

F. Identity in Christ

G. Authority in Christ

H. Grace

I. Finding God’s Will

Step 3-Identifying your Spiritual gifts and Ministry
In this course we teach about Spiritual Gifts, take a Spiritual Gifting Analysis, and look at different ways people may be able to use their gifting. These are exciting groups and the Father reveals new things too many people.

Step 4-Empowering People for Ministry
In these sessions we seek to mentor, coach and release the power that God has put into each individual through Holy Spirit. We discuss understanding your Prophetic gift. We ask for God to start using the gifts of Healing, Words of Knowledge, Miracles etc. in the people who are there.

The point is this, although we will spend the rest of our life in maturing and knowing the Father better, upon completing this strategy we will have a very good foundation to build the rest of our lives on. And because of that we have far more to offer our Savior in our intimate relationship with Him.
