Nursery

We provide an Infant, Waddler and Toddler Nursery as follows:

  • Infant - Newborn to 12 months
  • Waddler - 1 to 2 ½ years
  • Toddler – 2 ½ to 4 years

Sunday morning services are from 10:00 - 11:30. You may check your child into the nursery starting at 9:45 a.m.

Each nursery is staffed with one Lead Teacher and one or more Assistants. The staffing ratio of the teachers to children is 1 to 3 in the Infant Nursery and 1 to 4 in the Waddler Nursery and 1 to 5 in the Toddler Nursery.

Parents are welcome to come and be with their children in the nursery if needed.

Vision
To train up a child in the way that he/she should go, so when they are older, they will not turn from it.
Proverbs 22:6

Mission
To provide a secure atmosphere by giving the best possible care, comfort, guidance and instruction for our infants, waddlers and toddlers.

To love, value and nurture the children in their faith by providing quality programs and activities that will enable us to instill biblical principles and values as they become followers of Jesus Christ.
We are influencing the lives of children which is a very high calling; therefore, our goal is to model Jesus Christ.

Check-In Procedures
In order for us to receive accurate information about each child, parents or guardians must check children into the nursery. Please complete the check-in form provided with a name tag to be worn on their back. All personal belongings should also be labeled.

Number/Security System
Your child will be assigned a number which will be used if we need to notify you during the service. If this is the case, the number will be displayed in the bottom left corner of the projection screen in the sanctuary.

When checking your child into the Nursery, you will recieve a security card which has your child's number on it. This card must be presented to the Nursery workers in order for your child to be dismissed from the Nursery.

Diaper Changing Policy
Children should have a clean, dry diaper on when being dropped off in the Nursery.

Nursery workers will be responsible to change diapers as needed. Diapers are changed in visible areas and gloves will be worn.

Snack Time
A light snack and juice is provided in the waddler and toddler nurseries. If your child has special dietary needs, we ask that you bring a snack/juice that would be appropriate. Food allergies must be noted on the check-in sheet.

Nursing Room
To provide privacy for nursing mothers, the library is available during nursery hours. A changing pad is in the room as well.
