What you can expect...
It is important to know what you might be getting into when visiting someplace new. Come with us now as we walk you through a typical service at Hope Community.
As you enter the building, you are greeted by friendly people who welcome you in. Perhaps they ask you if this is your first time at Hope. They will give you a Visitor Information packet, and either accompany you down to the sanctuary or show you in that direction.

At the entrance to the sanctuary you are again greeted by our helpful ushers. They will give you a bulletin with information about upcoming events. If necessary, they will help you find a comfortable seat. You will probably meet a variety of people before the service begins. We are a friendly and warm bunch.
The service opens with approximately 30 minutes of vibrant, contemporary worship music. There are many ways of worshiping found in the Bible. At Hope you may see people playing various instruments (Ps. 150), dancing (Ps. 149:3), waving worship flags (Ps. 20:5), clapping (Ps. 47:1), singing a new song to the Lord (Ps. 33:3), or raising their hands (Ps. 63:4).
During the worship music the Preschool and Elementary School aged children are in the sanctuary worshiping with the adults. It is important to us that our children learn how to worship by the example of their parents and other adults. Then, just before the sermon begins we call all the kids up to the front of the church. We pray for them and send them off to their Sunday School Classes. There is nursery care available for children three years old and younger. We have three beautiful nurseries staffed by trained volunteers: Infants (Newborn -11 months), Waddlers (1 - 2 ½ years) and Toddlers (2 ½ - 3 years).

Pastor Brian is a fabulous teaching pastor. He delivers relevant messages to bring encouragement to your daily life and your relationship with God.
At the close of every service prayer teams are available at the front of the sanctuary if you would like someone to pray with you.
Our services last approximately 1 ½ hours. We are dismissed with a prayer of blessing over the congregation. People visit and get to know one another after the service. Stay as long as you like!
Thank you for joining us on our walk through a typical Sunday service.
We hope to see you here soon!
